OUR "MUST TRY" SPECIALTIES
TAMBUN BISCUITS
Tambun Biscuit is the baby version of Tow Sar Bing.
It came about in the early days when our Founder realized that the normal Tow Sar Bing was rather too big to regarded as finger food. Hence, he decided to reduce the size to almost that of a ping pong ball. One piece, one mouthful. From then on, Tambun Biscuit was born; pioneered by our late grandfather, the founder of Him Heang brand.
Besides the smaller size, there are two distinctive features that separate Tambun Biscuit from Tow Sar Bing. The former has a thinner crust and more compact, smoother
Ingredients: Wheat Flour, Sugar, Green Beans, Fried Onions, Vegetable Oil and Salt.

Beh Teh Saw
In the olden days before the existence of electric oven, porcelain oven was used to bake Beh Teh Saw. Coconut shells were kilned using charcoal in high temperature heat. The extremely hot coconut shells were subsequently flushed with cold water and pastry dough applied to inner side of coconut shell before being placed in high temperature heat for baking. The end product of the pastry was shaped like a horse shoe, and hence the name Beh Teh Saw came about. In Hokkien dialect, “Beh” means horse.
You will no longer find conventional baking methods in present days as coconut shells and charcoal has been banned by local authorities for environmental reasons.
